FAQs

What to Expect

When you enter the Maui Singing Bowl you will be greeted by one of our skilled practitioners. You will be escorted to your private dressing room. There you will change into one of our comfortable cotton robes. (If you do not want to remove your clothing, please wear loose comfortable feeling clothing and put the robe on over your clothing)

You will then be escorted into the bowl room where you will step onto the stair and into the bowl. The practitioner will then help you get comfortable in the hammock. At this point you will be suspended in the bowl below the lip of the bowl. Be sure to take notice of the inside of the bowl. You can see the coding from inside the bowl and if you understand frequencies, the exact frequencies are located on a chart that hangs next to the bowl.

The practitioner will strike the bowl every 15 seconds for 20 minutes. After the last strike you will relax in the hammock while the bowl sings for approximately another 5 minutes. There is also an additional 5 minutes for recovery time. You can expect to be in the hammock for about 30 minutes. After, your session the practitioner will provide you with a hot towel service.

What Our Guests Say

“I must say that it was quite an out of body experience. I’m not normally one for meditating but it’s something I would like to pursue. Everyone reacts differently to the vibrations…I felt an extraordinary sense of calm which is hard to explain unless you’ve experienced this type of treatment before.”
